This is a solution for the large business fleets or for fleets that deals with extremely valuable or dangerous cargo.  It allows managements to keep their fleet connected to home base and to the world around them. 

This solution allows  connectivity under pre set rules by management about how calling is done, with whom and under what conditions.  This empowers the driver to go about their daily routine without getting stressed out because they have to manually control their phones, e-mails or computers while driving, or to be subjected to chaotic incoming call a a time they feel is too complex to start a communication session.

The fleet owner will also get better control about what the drivers in his company are doing while on the road and he is certain that the system is pro-actively preventing accidents and risky behaviors and not just reporting them.  Communication on the move also reduces the risk of Hijacking, which normally happens when the vehicle is parked.

In simple terms, driver will get a smart cradle that monitors the vehicle, the computer and the phone and then it controls access to communication based on policy set by management. 

The driver  can have a host of communication needs pooled into their profile for access from one place while driving, iQ-HUB^TM.

The system has a single touch 911 calling feature as well as an automatic 911 call, iQ-911 ^TM, in case of an accident.

Let's explain what we do and how we do it starting with your phone.  

Your phones: Each cell phone in the company  will host a data profile about the person who holds that specific phone, iQ-PROFILE^TM.  The Profile will contain the driver likes and dislikes,  preferences, favorites, emergency contact information, personal medical record and the address-username & login password to the driver iQ-HUB ^TM Web account.  The system will automatically add information to the phone as it learns more about the driver preferences so it can speed up your selection and reduce your workload while driving.

iQ-HUB^TM:     iQ-HUB^TM is an administrative account on the internet.  The administrative controls meant be used by managements to create individual accounts to all drivers in the fleet.  Each account will have a portal page and is mated with a unique phone. 

The administrator will set up each individual driver profile, including allowed functionalities while driving. and the completed profile will be downloaded on the phone via a message.

The  portal page is used  to pool the communication resources:

3. RSS feeds for preferred news sources and topics

4. RSS feed for local Weather

5. RSS feed for local Traffic

The Administrator is able to use the page to see any updates sent by the iQ-Gateway ^TM of a specific vehicle when an event is triggered or to review the daily activity of a specific user.

iQ-Gateway^TM:    iQ-Gateway^TM  is the "heart and brain" of the system.  No one else have anything like it.  Unlike some features on modern vehicles, this is not just a USB connectivity for your phone and MP3 player will dock into this smart cradle to be powered and controlled**. 

iQ-Gateway^TM will enable, disable, suspend or activate equipments, devices or services in real time as per drivers set preferences to reduce distraction and work load.  More details available under Solutions page.

iQ-CONTROLS^TM: iQ-CONTROLS^TM  is a cluster of Smart Man Machine Interfaces.  It determines how the system informs and receives commands back from the driver.  

1. Hands On Wheel Interface^TM.  This is a 100% reliable user interface made up of two sensors at the 10:02 with a smart management system.  Instead of reaching for the phone, the driver can toggle through phone book and other communication features without taking hands of the wheels.  The driver selects the option, (from an audible menu), using Thumbs Gesture Interpretation.

2. Head UP Speaker^TM.   The speaker is positioned and designed to deliver sound from a unidirectional source from the forward looking-head up-eye level position.  This help drivers avoid the Zone out/Tunnel vision effect associated with the Earpiece, Hand held phones and sounds pumped from the car speakers

3. iQ-NOTIFY^TM. is a system and methods used to test the driver alertness during long conversations or long trips.  The systems uses Dead Man Switch method as well as attention grabbing features to make sure driver is aware of his environment and not day dreaming or under  Zone out/Tunnel vision effect.

iQ-SENSE ^TM:  Is a scalable physiology sensor suite built into the steering wheel. It offers Heart Rate, Hands Temperature, Blood pressure, Blood Oxygen level, Sweat Detection which is used in Stress and DUI detection. This kit also includes disabling hardware, available at extra cost. Regular Maintenance is required

* Bluetooth ^R enabled devices do not need to be plugged in, but it is preferred to assure full charge and simplify the identification of the driver in case of multiple drivers.

** Commands are issued by the Gateway based on vehicle owner setup. Some commands would include silencing Incoming Call notifications while the turn signal is engaged, When the vehicle is accelerating, when the vehicle is breaking hard or when the vehicle is in reverse.    More details available under Solutions page.
